As with many theories, there are multiple sides; and with multiple sides, there are people who are heavily rooted to their beliefs. It is also fiercely debated whether either side, creationism or evolution, should be taught in public schools. To make beliefs even, both theories should be taught in school. Both ideas should be presented to students, primarily in secondary schools, as to allow for students to make their own decision on the topic.

The board of education chose to only teach the theory of evolution because of certain laws making the U.S. secular and schools not wanting to offend or violate anyone's beliefs. Since there is evidence to support evolution, evolution is being taught in schools as science; whereas, creationism is taught in church for religious beliefs.
